The Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland Advice Line team offers a single point of access to our services, supporting people to manage their conditions and live life to the full.
As an Advice Line Cost of Living volunteer you will provide information and guidance via telephone to people affected by chest or heart conditions, stroke or Long Covid who are experiencing financial issues in relation to their health condition. You will provide information and guidance to help people understand what benefits they may be entitled to. This support will include listening, understanding callers' needs and signposting to external agencies.
Full training is provided, as well as on-going guidance and support from your volunteer line manager.
